What Is VehiMitra Street QR?
VehiMitra Street QR is a QR sticker installed at selected public locations. If someone notices an accident, an injured person, an animal in distress, or another supported situation, they can scan the QR, choose the relevant option and submit an alert through VehiMitra.
If a participating NGO is configured for that area, the relevant alert can be made available to its VehiMitra dashboard for early awareness. The NGO decides whether it can respond and what action it can take. VehiMitra provides the technology and alert system; it is not an NGO or emergency-response service itself.
NGO participation depends on an appropriate organisation being configured and available. Street QR does not replace police, ambulance, veterinary, government or other emergency services, and no rescue or response outcome is guaranteed.

The user selects the relevant situation, such as an accident, injured person, woman or child needing help, or animal distress.
The user submits the information requested by the VehiMitra form.
Where a participating NGO is configured for the area, the alert can be delivered to its VehiMitra dashboard for early awareness. The organisation decides whether and how to respond.
